Our History

Cutting Edge Supply began its history in Ground Engaging Tools and Wear parts as an outlet for its parent company’s manufacturing capabilities. Black Diamond Blade Company began manufacturing cutting edges for the earth moving industry in Los Angeles, CA in 1950. Soon the company found it needed an outlet to sell these parts, so Cutting Edge Supply Company was created to be the retail end to the construction industry in California.

Today, Cutting Edge Supply holds the same values it did when it first opened. What has changed is a huge array of additional products and services we now offer. Our company has changed greatly in size over the past 55 years, but one thing has not, our desire to be the best customer driven wear parts specialists around.
